Tuesday Lunch: Zaza’s and Hoopdees
Today Andy and I were craving the Thirdward favorite, the Rajun Cajun Chicken sandwich from Zaza’s Steak and Lemonade. Located in the heart of Milwaukee on 4919 W. Capitol Drive, this carryout only shop sells freshly made (seriously) cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches and a few other common items. The lemonade part of the name is where things get crazy.
They have 12 flavors ranging from grape to pina colada. And they don’t use a full lid to keep the delicious nectar safe, instead they use saran wrap and shake the cup to mix the flavor into the lemonade.
Not only is the food good, but spottin hoopdees while driving there and back is also a very fun time. Today we brought the camera in hopes of documenting some conversion vans with rims, but we came up short and had to shoot other ridiculous rides that cruise up and down Capitol. Here is the aftermath.
The philly cheese steak and the Rajun Cajun Chicken sandwich are the best and for $5.27, it’s the best deal in town. When I asked Andy how his sandwich was while I saw him devouring it he said. “Delectable.” I know that before and or after the premier that I’m hitting up Za’s and getting a rajun and if anyone wants to join I’m down to drive.

Zaza’s is the greatest thing to ever happen to me. The first time I ate there I was able to fight an entire gang of kids trying to steal my kicks.
